As
Common Investment Funds, investing charities have the knowledge
that the two Funds have been scrutinised by the Charity Commission.
Indeed, as charities in their own right, they are tax-efficient
and benefit from the Stamp Duty Reserve Tax exemption, unlike
a conventional unit trust.
As a further comfort, charities investing in the Alpha Common
Investment Funds benefit from the independent Board of
Directors. They have
responsibilities similar to those of charity trustees and
meet Sarasin & Partners at least quarterly to
discuss investment policy and strategy.
