The
Alpha Common Investment Fund
for Income and Reserves seeks capital preservation
over rolling twelve-month periods in most “normal”
stock market conditions and an annual income yield of approximately
4.50%.
The Alpha Common Investment
Fund for Endowments seeks long-term capital and income
growth from a broadly diversified portfolio of bonds, equities
and alternative assets. The annual income yield is expected
to be about 3%.
While many charities will find that one of the Alpha Common
Investment Funds matches their investment objectives, it is
likely that many will want to blend investments in both funds
to create a “tailored” investment portfolio that
meets their specific requirements. For charities who choose
this approach, the ability to receive “see-through”
valuations combining their investments in both funds is expected
to be particularly appealing.
