The
Alpha Family consists of two multi-asset class funds that
have been designed to take account of changes in charity law,
changes in the investment environment and the knowledge that
attractive investment returns are harder to come by.
However, a successful investment strategy is more than one
that simply delivers good investment performance. It is important
that trustees are able to see the risks that are being taken
on their behalf: high levels of reporting should be expected
as standard.
The Alpha Common Investment Funds also recognise that social
and environmental responsibility are increasingly important
and sensitive issues for charities.
Three areas set The Alpha Common Investment Funds apart from
the majority of other pooled investment funds:
• Reporting:
award winning reporting and strategic advice, a bespoke website
and the development of electronic reporting and an on-line
“e-community”
• Socially
Responsible Investment Policy: a clearly defined policy
and unique “Sustainable Audit”
• Corporate
Governance: a pro-active approach to investment
